Portrait Photography Renfrewshire
Portrait photography is a bit of an art form. The idea is to get a person, or a group of people (usually with at least one of the group being reluctant about the whole venture) to pose for a photo…which absolutely cannot look posed for. My job as the portrait photographer is to get the person, or people, to relax, to be natural and to let their personalities shine through. There is also the mastery of lighting, a professional studio (or carefully selected location) and some incredibly fancy camera equipment required. When it all comes together, you get beautiful images like these.
Studio Photography Renfrewshire
The Studio in Bridge of Weir is my purpose-built photography studio. Over the years I have filled it with props, gadgets, lights, backdrops and more to turn it into the perfect place for Studio portrait photography.
Having my own studio means that I can let my clients relax, take their time, and get comfortable while I take their photos. Many people’s only experience of portrait photography is the dreaded school headshot with a tired teacher screaming ‘NEXT!’ every few minutes. Very few people actually like getting their photos taken, but after 17 years as a professional photographer, I can guarantee that I will make even the most reluctant family member smile for the camera.
Family Portraits Renfrewshire
Selfies are great, but it is always worth getting a professional involved and having some real family portraits taken. From couples to multi-generation group photos – I have the experience (and patience!) for any family portrait photograph sessions you can dream of. Take a look at some of the examples and get in touch with Stark Images in Bridge of Weir to arrange your session today.
